Hope For Paws is an open-admission, no-kill shelter dedicated to strengthening the relationship between animals and humans through adoptions and education – making a more compassionate community possible.
A Life Saving Shelter:
At Hope For Paws is committed to remaining an Open Admission shelter while also maintaining No-Kill status. To that end, we have created programs to both care for animals in need and to craft a long-lasting solution. Hope For Paws does not turn our community’s animals away, keeping our doors open to help animals in distress as well as lost and stray animals. We do not charge a fee or require an appointment to re-home a pet. We heal those animals that are medically treatable, rehabilitate pets with behavior issues, and teach adults and children alike the skills of compassion and empathy – ensuring our entire community treats animals, and one another, with respect. Through our diverse programs, HAWS is using innovative ideas to achieve our goal of a humane community and to end needless euthanasia.
